Samina also works as an actor in simulated doctor-patient cases at five medical schools, requiring her to portray a range of emotional behaviors and physical symptoms, and to reproduce complex patient histories. Samina is also a former lawyer and local TV news reporter, a baseball fan, mom to two zany rescues dogs and an ice cream devotee (salted caramel for the win!).
